About This Work
This work grew from my deep connection to Pittwater . I am drawn to the way our local landscape can feel familar yet shift each time you return. Morning Bay Stillness explores the gentle stillness of Morning Bay and the intricacies and the feeling of being In Pittwater.The painting carries my sense of Pittwater as a place to be still, where light shifts slowly and there is room to simply be. Working in oils, I build the landscape with many layers creating depth and texture.
