ABOUT
The Barrenjoey Artwalk is a borrowed concept. Created originally for the Mosman Village by some art loving parents of Mosman High School, the Mosman Art Walk supported the local economy and artists during Covid. The initiative was so well received that 2024, marked the 4th year the Mosman Art Committee has run it.
With their permission, the P&C of Barrenjoey High School have created our own spin on the wonderful event, which at the core is for the same reason; support the community in which our school sits. Helping the local retailers and businesses, helping local artists, all while raising much needed funds for our wonderful Government school.
We hope you enjoy the 2024 Barrenjoey Artwalk. Follow the yellow dots!

"The Barrenjoey Artwalk is a fantastic initiative that brings our community together in support of local artists and businesses," said Claire Dwight, President of Barrenjoey High School's P&C. "We can’t wait to see Avalon Village transformed into a sidewalk gallery, showcasing the incredible talent of our local artists while driving foot traffic into our vibrant local shops. By benefiting from a portion of the sales, Barrenjoey High School is not only raising essential funds but also solidifying its role as an integral part of the community. It’s a win-win for everyone—our artists, our businesses, and most importantly, our students. We encourage everyone to come out, explore, and support this great community event."

The Barrenjoey Artwalk is a P&C community initiative run wholly by volunteers to raise much needed funds for Barrenjoey High School, Avalon NSW.
Barrenjoey High School, Principal, Brett Blaker said, "This initiative exemplifies the power of collaboration, bringing together students, artists, and local businesses. The Barrenjoey Artwalk strengthens our community engagement, which is a key component of our school vision, whilst providing an opportunity for the students of Barrenjoey High School to proudly display their artistic flair".
