About This Work
“Elemental” captures the sublime power of nature, her raw energy and overwhelming beauty. As we alter the delicate balance within earths’ ecosystems, weather patterns become increasingly extreme revealing the consequences of our relationship with the natural world. It is a reminder of our interconnectedness, and the fragility of our human presence. These in between or transformative zones tell the stories of man’s impact on the natural rhythms and cycles of the environment. The images embrace the diversity, beauty and sometimes shocking reality of our shared impact. We are one, not seperate from these ecosystems. Though awareness there is hope for everyone to consider their collective responsibility.
