About This Work
Freedom Swallows Cave is where I find freedom, it’s a place of hope and beauty. A cathedral that is 14 metres deep. I have been to this incredible place seven or eight times and always eager to return. Swallows fly above, then when you swim in you enter a darkness which is scary but magical. By the time you make it to the end of the cave it’s oval and feels like a cocoon … which makes me feel safe. You turn to look to the entrance which is half in and half out of the water, with birds flying above and fish swimming below. It is so beautiful and such a place of nature. Lisa my beautiful whale guide seem to conduct this swarm. Swallows Cave truly illustrates how humans and marine life can co-exist.
