About This Work
The Tulips Tuesday Morning devoloped from some drawings done over a number of days earlier this year. A gorgeous bunch of white tulips in my mothers vase - captured in drawings before they collapsed into a pile of petals. I loved the drawings and decided to develp one of them into a small painting on board. An initial underpainting was painted, once dry colours were layered over the top - sometimes sanded back to show the layer beneath.
