Her compositions evolve organically rather than being carefully planned, allowing the painting to guide the process. There is a primal feeling within her work, where water, earth, sky, body and emotion seem to merge. Through expressive mark-making, layered textures and atmospheric colour, Halee creates moody landscapes that explore our instinctive connection to the natural world.
