About This Work
A special piece I created, inspired by one of my favourite songs, ‘Darkest Hour’ by Lyves. This artwork explores the depth, intensity, and quiet beauty that can be found in our darkest hours. The figure reaches outward, arms open, embodying a readiness to receive blessings, hope, and light amidst the darkness.
About the Artist
Angus Martin
angusmartinartI explore emotions through colour, form, and symbolism, creating paintings that tell stories and carry hidden messages. Each piece is a meditation, guiding viewers to look beyond the surface and discover personal meaning. Inspired by music, poetry, and quotes, my work invites reflection and connection with the soul. For me, art acts as a visual anchor, providing a sense of familiarity and reassurance. It's not just about the colour and strokes; it's about creating a connection that goes beyond the surface, becoming a meaningful part of the viewer's journey.
